These terms explain the conditions for using The Change Architect website, public resources, publishing route, training previews, member tools, converter features, templates, certificate-verification pages, and related services. By using the site, you agree to use it responsibly and within the boundaries below.
The Change Architect is currently an independent research, publishing, learning, and platform-building initiative. It is not yet a registered charity, NGO, university, accredited training institution, law firm, accounting firm, medical provider, or emergency-response agency.
1. Who operates the platform
The Change Architect is operated by Mohammed Al-Hajjaj, who also publishes under the pen name Olaf Dawson, based in Belgium. The platform is being developed toward a broader humanitarian knowledge, learning, publishing, and organization-support ecosystem. 2. General information, not professional advice
Content on this site is provided for learning, research, planning, and general information. It should not be treated as legal, financial, tax, medical, security, safeguarding, procurement, accreditation, immigration, or emergency advice. You are responsible for checking important decisions with qualified professionals, competent authorities, donors, partners, or your own organization before acting.
3. Publishing route
The publishing route is an editorially reviewed pathway for humanitarian research, field studies, practitioner essays, student papers, working papers, organization case studies, and related material. It is not an academic peer-reviewed journal unless a specific publication is later clearly labelled as having gone through a formal peer-review process.
- Submission does not guarantee publication.
- You must have the right to submit the work and any supporting material.
- You must not submit confidential personal data, survivor or beneficiary identifiers, staff files, security-sensitive field details, or material that could expose people or teams to harm.
- We may request clarification, decline a submission, correct metadata, issue corrections, or remove material where needed for safety, rights, accuracy, or editorial integrity.
- AI assistance must be disclosed honestly where the form or guidelines ask for it.
4. Training, quizzes, and certificates
Public training pages, free quizzes, self-checks, lesson previews, and downloadable materials are provided to support practical learning. Free learning records and self-check results are not paid certificates, accredited qualifications, university credits, employment guarantees, or external endorsements.
Paid TCAA certificate pathways should only be treated as active when enrollment, payment, learner access, assessment rules, certificate issue, public verification, admin review, refund/support handling, and certificate revocation controls are tested and clearly published. Until then, certificate pages are readiness and verification infrastructure, not a promise that every course is already open for paid certification.
5. Member accounts and access
Free accounts are intended to help members access public and member-facing tools, learning records, updates, and platform services. Creating an account does not create a paid membership, donation, employment relationship, organization verification, certificate, partnership, or right to access restricted material.
We may suspend or limit access if an account is used for spam, scraping, abuse, security testing without permission, impersonation, unlawful activity, harassment, or attempts to access private/admin systems.
6. Tools, converter, templates, and data
Converters, templates, checklists, calculators, search features, readiness tools, and downloadable files are provided as practical aids. They may contain approximations, public-source limitations, formatting assumptions, or context that must be adapted before use. You are responsible for checking figures, dates, exchange rates, regulations, donor rules, and field realities before relying on them.
Do not enter sensitive beneficiary, survivor, medical, protection, security, legal, donor-restricted, or confidential organizational data into public forms or tools unless the page clearly says it is designed and authorized for that purpose.
7. Organization directory and verification boundaries
Organization profiles, directory records, claim workflows, trust signals, and verification materials may include self-declared, publicly available, reviewed, or externally confirmed information. A profile on the platform is not automatic accreditation, due diligence approval, donor endorsement, legal registration confirmation, or proof of operational capacity.
8. Donations, payments, and future paid services
Support payments and donations currently support the independent work behind the platform. Unless a page explicitly says otherwise, contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations and do not purchase a certificate, membership upgrade, consulting service, publication decision, or guaranteed response.
Before a paid course, certificate pathway, cohort, workshop, or other service is offered, the purchase page must identify the product, total price and currency, access or delivery method, important eligibility conditions, and the support route. Placing an order creates an obligation to pay only when the final payment action clearly says so.
Cancellation, withdrawal, refund, access-removal, and payment-support conditions are set out in the Refund and cancellation policy. That policy forms part of these terms and does not reduce any consumer right that applies under mandatory law.
9. Intellectual property and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, The Change Architect content, page design, text, course structure, templates, and platform materials are protected by copyright and related rights. You may read, link to, share short excerpts with attribution, and use public templates internally for responsible organizational work. You may not resell, repackage, mass copy, scrape, falsely attribute, or present the materials as your own platform, course, publication, or certified product without written permission.
10. User submissions and public contributions
When you submit a message, manuscript, organization profile, announcement, comment, or other material, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, lawful to share, and not harmful to people, organizations, field teams, or protected groups. You remain responsible for the content you submit.
11. AI-assisted features
AI-supported features can help with drafting, searching, summarizing, or learning, but outputs may be incomplete, outdated, biased, or wrong. You must review AI-assisted outputs before using them in reports, proposals, public claims, safeguarding decisions, financial records, operational decisions, or external communication.
12. Availability and changes
The site is under active development. Pages, tools, routes, course materials, publishing workflows, search results, account features, and external integrations may change, pause, move, or be withdrawn. We try to keep public information clear, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
13. Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Change Architect is not responsible for losses, damages, claims, missed opportunities, funding decisions, operational outcomes, publication decisions, training outcomes, certificate expectations, data-entry mistakes, third-party service issues, or actions taken based on general site content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Third-party services and links
The site may link to or use third-party services such as Stripe, Firebase, FormSubmit, Google Translate, external datasets, public APIs, social media platforms, or partner websites. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and risks. Links do not mean endorsement unless clearly stated.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform develops. The last-updated date will change when material updates are made. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated terms.
