MEAL AI Workflow Pack
This public assignment brief shows the shape of the Level 2 practical task. It is a preview only. Paid enrollment, scoring, admin review, and certificate issue remain separate and must be handled through the private learner workflow.
Scenario: A local organization is preparing a quarterly donor report and internal learning brief. The team has monitoring notes, anonymized activity summaries, feedback themes, and a short after-action review. Leadership wants to use AI for structure and synthesis, but not at the expense of confidentiality, evidence quality, or accountability.
Learner Task
- Create a MEAL AI workflow map showing where AI can help and where it must not be used.
- Write a data-boundary note for sensitive field, feedback, staff, safeguarding, protection, and partner information.
- Prepare a qualitative synthesis safety check for anonymized feedback or interview themes.
- Draft a learning brief structure that separates evidence, findings, limitations, and action implications.
- Create an evidence traceability note showing how claims will be checked before donor or public use.
- Design a final quality gate for reporting, learning, privacy, and human approval.
Submission Package
| Item | Expected content |
|---|---|
| Workflow map | MEAL/reporting workflow, AI role, data involved, risk level, approval need, and human owner. |
| Data-boundary note | Clear examples of data that must not enter public AI tools, including case, protection, safeguarding, staff, partner, and precise-location information. |
| Qualitative synthesis check | Sampling limits, consent considerations, bias review, excluded voices, traceability, and reviewer approval. |
| Learning brief structure | Purpose, evidence base, key findings, what changed, learning points, action implications, and limitations. |
| Evidence traceability note | How each claim will be linked to source material, reviewed notes, or named internal approval. |
| Quality gate | Final checks for confidentiality, evidence quality, limitations, donor requirements, sensitive data, and human accountability. |
Assessment boundary: the public brief does not include the full scoring rubric, answer key, or certificate decision rules. Those belong in the admin pilot pack so the assessment remains credible.
